Fiberglass Pool Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long will it take to install a pool?

A: From the time of delivery the pool will be ready to enjoy within about two weeks.

Q: Will I ever have to drain my pool?
A: A fiberglass pool never needs to be emptied because of the permanenet interior surface. A vinyl liner pool has to be emptied when the liner is replaced. A cement pool has to be emptied when the surface is re-coated or serviced.

Q: How much will it cost to operate my pool?
A: A fiberglass pool is the least expensive in-ground pool to maintain. The chemicals and electricity averages about $.50 to $1.00 a day.

Q: How will harsh weather effect my pool?
A: A fiberglass pool is designed to accomodate extreme climate changes with the flexible nature of the fiberglass pool.

Q: Will the pool bottom be slippery?
A: Fiberglass pools have a textured bottom and steps like in a fiberglass tub or shower bottom. The vinyl liner pools are slippery and the concrete surfaces are rough, the fiberglass pool offers the most comfortable choice.

Q: Can the fiberglass pool be installed above ground or in a deck?
A: Yes, we offer several models that can be manufactured for roof tops, in-decks, or out of the ground applications

Q: How can my fiberglass pool be customized?
A: The pools are available with in-layed mosaic tile designs, waterline tile, colored fiber-optic lighting, underwater LED lighting, pool heaters, built in waterfalls.

Q: Why do fiberglass pools use less chemicals than other types of inground swimming pools?
A: The smooth non-pourous surface enable the owner to use less chlorine and energy to keep the pool clean because the surface doesn't grow bacteria.
